  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy  is a complete program and never includes skills training by itself unless it is part of a specific pilot program and follows a specific researched back protocol.
  • Individual Dialectical Behavior Therapy is always a part of a REAL DBT program and that therapy is conducted by a Behavioral Therapist who has been trained by Marsha Linehan or other trainers who have worked with her.
  • In addition, the very best DBT Therapists are closely aligned with the broader global DBT community and regularly consult with DBT experts in the field.
  • DBT is very structured as well as very validating and is designed to work on specific goals and targets in a particular order to maximize learning. At San Jose DBT You will always know what the DBT Therapist is up to and will be an active collaborator.
